Sample activity:

Have student start on START HERE.

Have student whisper “one, two” while
hopping with two feet on the numerals one and two. (One foot on each numeral.)

Then have student hop with one foot on the three, clap and say “three” in a loud
voice (if your learning environment permits).

Continue alternating between two foot and one-footed hops to the end of the mat. Repeat activity until student is comfortable with activity. Be sure that your student says the numerals
correctly. Tell your student the numerals if your student doesn’t know them.
